Joint Statement from the Inspection Panel and Bank Management on the Panel’s DRC Roads Project Case

“The World Bank Board of Executive Directors on July 17, 2018, discussed the Inspection Panel’s investigation of the Second Additional Financing of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s High Priority Roads Reopening and Maintenance Project, and asked Bank Management to update its Response and proposed Action Plan to fully reflect the steps it has taken and plans to take to address the Panel’s findings in the Investigation Report. The Panel’s Investigation Report and the Management Response, including the Action Plan, will be released publicly following the Board’s approval of the updated Action Plan.”
